* Soc 301 is required as the first course in the upper division sequence of core courses in the Sociology
major. Soc 307, Soc 309, and Soc 311 are core courses in the Sociology major and should be taken
in the junior year.
** Soc 418, Soc 434, Soc 436, and Soc 484 are required courses in the Sociology/Social Work Program.
*** Soc 590 is a senior seminar. Students may enroll in Soc 590 anytime during Year 4, but only after
completing Soc 301, Soc 307, Soc 309, and Soc 311.
